Description
After the revelation of Benedict Arnold and John Andre's plot to give up the Fort of West Point to the British, Benedict Arnold writes a letter to Washington pleading for the safety of his wife, Peggy Shippen. Arnold vindicates her of any wrongdoing to Washington.
